How to tell if your tree is dead, dying
Call one of our arborists if you notice any of the following:
- Sudden or heaving leaning. This could indicate a damaged root system, which likely means the tree is at risk.
- Roots heaving up from ground or visibly dead or dying roots.
- Decay or fungi
- Peeling or loose bark.
- Extensive cracks, crevices or cavities around the trunk of the tree .
- Dead or drooping branches in the canopy.
- Wilting, discolored or damaged leaves.
